jobs@uwgb.eduJob Description: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:, This position reports to the Assistant Director for Study Abroad and is responsible for implementing an array of study abroad opportunities, including coordination of student recruitment, student advising, orientation delivery, travel coordination, procurement, program evaluation, and report preparation. The Study Abroad Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the Office of International Education, overseas partners, UW-Green Bay faculty, and various support offices., This position includes the following responsibilities:, •Advise students, parents, faculty, and staff about UW-Green Bay study abroad opportunities and administrative policies/procedures., •Coordinate application, acceptance, and orientation material updates., •Develop program budgets and student cost sheets for each program., •Work collaboratively with other campus departments, such as the Registrar's Office, Financial Aid, Student Billing, and Controller's Office., •Assist department chairs on study abroad curriculum integration., •Administer study abroad program portfolio in compliance with UW System and UW-Green Bay procurement and administrative policies., •Coordinate program arrangements with service providers and partner institutions., •Process applicable immigration processes for student participants., •Conduct pre-departure orientation programs for faculty and students., •Conduct reentry programs for study abroad returnees., •Update and maintain the emergency response plan for study abroad programs., •Assist with monitoring and evaluating study abroad programs., CAMPUS INFORMATION:, The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is a comprehensive public institution with an enrollment of about 7,000 students, exceptional academic facilities and affordable, high-quality programs.
