Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:, The primary role of the Manager of Operations & Relationships (MOR) is to plan, direct, coordinate, and maximize the strategic use of human resources within the Adult Services department. The MOR will provide the first line of support to all front line staff and will be responsible for the supervision/development of the Core Program Specialists, Adult Instructors, Personal Care Specialists, and Program Support Aide. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:, 1. Responsible for all aspects of performance management to include on-going performance coaching, goal setting, discussion notes, performance improvement plans, observation sessions, training, performance recommendations, continuing education and self-development, annual performance reviews, etc., 2. Direct & coordinate the activities and performance of employees engaged in the operations of the Adult Services program., 3. Ensure the Adult Services program meets and adheres to all requirements of the 706 regulations., 4. Provide direction, leadership and team development to the Adult Services program., 5. Work with Manager of Curriculum Development to determine staffing patterns/requirements, ensure that schedules are met, guidelines are adhered to and performance expectations are met., 6. Explore new opportunities for staffing/resources to include collaboration with schools and local agencies, attend job fairs, tap into new markets, etc., 7. Work to streamline processes and be accountable for the team functioning productively and efficiently., 8. Actively participate in interview/hiring process to include development of job descriptions, core competencies and interview guides, interviews, and tours., 9. Develop and implement new-hire training and on-going/follow-up with new employee’s in-service training. 10. Serve as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies/procedures and helping resolve work-related issues.

Experience Required: 1. At least 2 years supervisory/management experience preferred., 2. Proven leadership skills; ability to build effective relationships internally and externally at all levels., 3. Strong interpersonal and motivational skills., 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, as well as, conflict resolution skills., 5. Effective decision-making and problem solving skills., 6. Proficient computer/technology skills, especially Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point.
