Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:, The primary role of the Controller is to prepare monthly financial statements for the agency, provide budget and financial planning and monitoring, and complete audit preparation. The Controller also provides supervision to the areas of general accounting (including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable) and reception processes and staff. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:, 1. Responsible for the integrity of financial data and accuracy of the general ledger., 2. Responsible for oversight of payroll preparation, reporting, rules, and regulations., 3. Responsible for oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of the agency., 4. Responsible for oversight of the financial aspects of agency fundraisers to ensure accuracy in reporting. 5. Responsible for ensuring the agency has proper business insurance coverage. 6. Ensure the agency creates and implements internal controls that safeguard agency assets., 7. Responsible for overall operation and supervision of clerical, reception, and general accounting staff. 8. Coordinate the annual independent audit with the organization’s CPA firm., 9. Prepare and present monthly organization and department financial statements including the analysis of variances., 10. Keep an accurate record of organization’s investment activity., 11. Develop and analyze financial and non-financial data in order to make recommendations to the Executive Director in regards to agency decision making., 12. Maintain a full set of financial records to include assets, liabilities, income, expenses, disbursements, general and subsidiary journals., 13. Responsible for the maintenance and analysis of various agency contracts., 14. Work closely with Executive Director and management to prepare and present annual budget., 15. Maintain a positive relationship with management staff, Executive Director, Board of Directors, and community stakeholders., 16. Work with and the Treasurer of the Board of Directors and Budget/Audit Committee., 17. Oversight of the 401(k) plan guideline and requirements, including the annual audit. 18. Perform other duties as deemed necessary and requested by the Executive Director., 19. Adhere to the agency safety policies and procedures., 20. Bring caring to life.

Experience Required: 1. Minimum of three years supervisory experience and significant experience in health care and/or non-profit financial management preferred., 2. Experience working with MAS 90 or equivalent software and Mysis Billing systems preferred
