Job Description: The Bookkeeper and Property Management Assistant is a critical role for the organization. As bookkeeper, this role maintains and manages all financial records and activities for the organization. Working with management, leadership partners, and volunteers will be a critical aspect of this position. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:, Bookkeeper (60%), •Financial processing, •Data Entry, •Payroll & Processing, •Creating Reports, Property Management Assistant (30%), •Monitoring & Managing properties, •Executing leases, •Collecting rent or permit fees, •Managing tenants, BBID Coordination (10%), •Support the accounting and project management function

Base Pay: Salaried Position - 30,000 +
Education Required: General Requirements, •Associates Degree in Accounting, •3-5 years previous experience, •Strong aptitude for financial management and real estate, •Strong organizational skills, •Strong verbal and written communication skills, •Strong customer service skills, •Strong time management skills, •Ability to work with and direct volunteers, guide committees, and mentor interns, •Ability to handle physical components (lifting, ect), •Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high energy, dynamic environment
Experience Required: Required, •MUST have experience with QuickBooks, •Payroll (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable) •MUST be outgoing and friendly, •Preferred experience working with non-profit organizations
