Job Description: Excellent position in the Neenah area as a Full-Time Supply Chain Assistant. This position will be for a year long assignment--There is potential for this to turn permanent, however, that will not be determined for several months. Main duties include: keeping an inventory schedule, tracking inventory, ordering supplies and shipping product. Interested candidate will be a back up to the Scheduler which will include entering supply information and cross checking the production schedule, then will be entering this information into the schedule using excel. Interested candidate will be contacting shipping companies in order to get the orders out in a timely manner, will need to determine if product needs to be shipped via courier or semi. Must be able to think on your feet to find any shipping challenge or opportunities in a short period of time. Will be entering inventory into the computer, checking for accuracy and making sure that there is adequate inventory available for production to run. Will be creating and printing out labels when needed, making sure that the correct information is on the labels and that all code/lot numbers are correct in accordance with the FDA. Will be entering and updating recipes on a daily basis in an excel spreadsheet correctly and accurately for inventory purposes. Will also need to fill in for receptionist from time to time. Interested candidate should be familiar with word & excel. Prior accounting, logistics, purchasing & inventory background is helpful. Interested candidate can not be afraid to dive into a problem and will need to be able to deal with difficult people.
