Job Description: St. Norbert College has an opening for a Catering & Conferencing Manager for the Bemis Conference Center on campus. This position is one of a team of managers that is responsible for overseeing all aspects of servicing customers in the meeting, conference and catering facets of the conference center. Specific responsibilities include: - Generating service orders and planning sheets for each event or daily activities, - Hiring, training, scheduling and directing student and other staff, - Assisting support staff with prepping carts, room set-ups and clean-ups, - Supervising events, meeting and greeting guests and troubleshooting last minute needs, - Ordering supplies, such as linens, special beverages or food requirements, - Billing for services rendered, - Assessing and coordinating facility custodial needs to support cleanliness and health and safety issues, - Additional duties as assigned, St. Norbert College, a thriving Catholic, liberal arts college rooted in the Norbertine tradition, welcomes applications from members of all faith traditions and backgrounds.
