Job Description: Seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Estimator with an extensive background with sheet metal. The successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of sheet metal and the metal fabrication processes including lasers, CNC turret punches, press brakes, welding, sawing, milling operations and set up time requirements. This position prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents to compute costs of labor, material, and time requirements. Provides project management duties, serving as a key liaison between production, management and customers, in order to provide answers in a timely manner during production. Supports engineering and other staff with information pertaining to pricing strategies and/or risk factors.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent with relevant experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment.
Experience Required: Experience with estimating software similar to JOB BOSS is beneficial; however willing to train on the software used as long as there has been previous experience using estimating software. Must be able to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities and still be able to meet the deadlines established. Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requires an engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers and customers.
