Job Description:  Employee is responsible for reporting time in PeopleSoft on a weekly basis.,  Consult with instructors to determine required semester student work.,  Inspect work for suitability to student needs; maintain a log of available work.,  Provide assistance to instructors – on safety, demonstrations, individual help for students, construct training aids, etc.,  Clean and organize inside and outside lab areas,  Clean and organize school equipment (Digger Derrick and Bucket Trucks and portable storage areas).,  Assist instructors in writing requisitions for instructional supplies, equipment repair, tools and other projects or services as needed.,  Organize, repair and maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition.,  Maintain peak shop appearance at all times.,  Assist instructors with maintaining records of expenditures and complete yearly inventory of small tools, equipment and supplies.,  Provide information for improvement of physical facility, equipment storage, etc.,  Participate in the development and analysis of the annual division budget reviewing program needs and historical spending analysis.,  Oversee the Trades and Technical inventory of equipment, tools, regular, and enterprise supplies.,  Participate in the Trades and Technical program team meetings as required.,  Participate in an instructor/lab aide meeting twice a school year.

Base Pay: $24.00/hour
Education Required:  Minimum of one year Electrical Power Distribution school training and four years of work experience as a Line Electrician or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience Required:  Experience/training as a Journeyman Line worker preferred.,  Technical training and experience on bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks and other equipment related to the field of Electrical Power Distribution.,  Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel along with Microsoft Outlook preferred.,  Ability to relate well and work with students, staff and general public.,  Ability to do general maintenance and repair of tools and equipment.,  Ability to work effectively in pressure or problem situations and meet deadlines.,  Ability to organize and prioritize work.,  Knowledge of ordering supplies and inventory procedures.
