Job Description: Our Fox Valley client is seeking and experienced, degreed Quality Engineer to oversee the fabrication area in a larger OEM of commercial equipment. This position is centered on providing Quality Engineering Support within plant operations for the Machine Shop and Plastic Molding Operations., The Fabrication Quality Engineer is responsible for performing problem analysis of critical processes along with machine capability and processes. Additional responsibilities include directing process control technicians assigned to fabrication area of responsibility., • You will be responsible for qualifying fabricated parts for various projects on a large commercial line of equipment. This will include Machined parts and Plastic Injection Molded parts. • There are approximately 40 people in the Machining department. Most of the work is die cast machining as well as shafts etc... • The Plastic Injection Molding area has approximately 30 employees. • This is a Union environment so previous Union experience would be a big plus.

Experience Required: Requirements: • Must have a solid background with SAP!!!, • APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), • Solid managerial and supervisory skills • Solid references and work history, Skills and Abilities:, • The ideal candidate must be a "hands on" contributor with strong background in Quality Engineering related to steel machining/fabrication and plastic injection molding. • Ability to use spreadsheets, database, word processing software, particularly MS Office products • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements • Excellent problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
