Job Description: • Manage the instructional process and associated curriculum review and development, including student advisement within the area of instruction. • Provide educational leadership and work effectively within a college team environment with advisory committees, faculty, administration and community groups. • Flexibility in area of assignment is required, with expectations for evening and/or week-end assignments. • Primary teaching assignments will be in second year Medical/Surgical nursing classes., • Primary clinical assignments will be in second year Medical/Surgical nursing in a variety of agencies which support the Associate Degree Nursing curriculum.

Base Pay: Based on a standard 180-day academic year, full-time obligation, minimum starting salary is $52,049 for a Bachelor’s degree and minimum experience. Maximum salary is $77,978 for a Doctorate’s degree and appropriate experience. Indexed salary table. (2011-2012 rates)
Education Required: • A Master’s Degree in Nursing OR a BSN enrolled in and actively pursuing completion of MSN. • Applicant must have five years of medical/surgical nursing experience (recent experience preferred).
Experience Required: • Applicant must have five years of medical/surgical nursing experience (recent experience preferred)., • Teaching experience, preferably in higher level class/clinical courses in medical surgical nursing is desirable., • Charge nurse/team leader experience also desirable. • Ability to develop and foster positive working relationships within various clinical agencies used by the nursing program. • Experience working with diverse client populations desirable. • Must meet requirements of appropriate accrediting agencies, have or be able to obtain Wisconsin licensure and be certifiable for an Associate Degree Nursing faculty position by both the Wisconsin Technical College Board and the Wisconsin Board of Nursing. • Employment is conditional on compliance with state statute regarding the completion of a Caregiver Background Check and the results acceptable to the clinical agencies accessed in the curriculum.
