Job Description: ABR Employment Services in partnership with a Greenville Company is currently looking for a 1st shift Production Supervisor for their Wood Department. This person would be responsible for 14 or more employees reporting to them. They will also be working heavily with programming G-code and scheduling production. AA/EOE., Essential Functions and Responsibilities:, Supervise and follow plant safety requirements to maintain a clean and safe work environment., Supervise production employees and Material Handler, Receiving Attendant in the Wood Department., Supervise wood production and recycling operations in the Wood Department., Responsible for programming and organization of manufacturing documentation for Wood Department machines., Monitor product quality., Schedule wood production and set-ups., Coordinate raw material utilization and waste handling requirements., Supervise and perform machine set-ups., Coordinate and train wood production employees., Schedule production for second shift and communicate schedule to Production Supervisor Wood - Second Shift., Assist with preventative and general maintenance., Perform various duties as assigned., Report activities to Executive Vice President., Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience Required: Minimum Qualifications:, High school diploma, GED, HSED; or equivalent combination of education and experience., Four (4) years of supervisory experience in a production environment., Experience with CNC equipment., Strong CNC programming skills, primarily G-Code and experience with AutoCAD., Experience with wood working equipment., Understand and utilize basic math skills., Basic reading and writing skills., Strong measurement and gauge instrument skills., Basic computer knowledge., Strong interpersonal skills., Maintain lift truck certification., Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and positive work attitude., Willing to work overtime., Physical Demands:, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear., The employee is regularly required to mount and dismount forklifts., The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms., The employee is occasionally required to kneel and bend., The employee must frequently lift up to thirty (30) pounds, and occasionally lift up to fifty (50) pounds., Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision., Work Environment:, While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to dust., The employee is regularly required to work individually and occasionally as part of a team.
