Job Description: Maintain inventory control and reporting system that assures stocking levels are sufficient to meet customer demands, maximize turnover, and minimize inventory investment and obsolescence., Purchases parts and supplies in the most cost-effective manner. Implements a core policy for all rebuilt parts., Assures that all parts documents are completed accurately, in full compliance with all state laws, and submitted to accounting, as required., Develops annual budgets for the parts department, establishing monthly sales and profit objectives., Creates sales and marketing plans to achieve profit potential., Communicates dealership market leadership and customer service goals to parts department personnel. Promotes standards of integrity and honesty. Assists staff with establishing and meeting sales and training goals., Supervises, hires, trains, directs, evaluates, assists, and motivates Parts staff.

Experience Required: Thorough knowledge of heavy/medium duty truck and trailer parts., Thorough knowledge of physical inventory control procedures., Supervisory, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet software., Comprehension of the business operations of a parts department; supply and demand, pricing structures, etc., Minimum of five years parts experience, heavy duty truck experience preferred.
