Job Description: This full-time (40 hours per week Sep – May, 32 hours June - Aug) position provides direct customer service to clients while working toward determining their eligibility for Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP). This program provides assistance in paying home energy bills, weatherization, energy-related home repairs, and crisis assistance. Additionally, the position performs administrative duties for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP). This program provides government subsidized rental assistance in Brown County. The position will carry a half caseload for the HCVP and administer a half WHEAP daily load. More details are available on the Employment Tab at www.ics-gb.org

Education Required: Prefer two years at a university, community or technical college, with coursework in business, banking, or social services.
Experience Required: o Prefer experience with low-income or otherwise disadvantaged groups of people., o Knowledge of Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance program, Housing Choice Voucher program, or Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rules and regulations a plus. o Bilingual Spanish and/or Hmong helpful, o Basic computer knowledge required.
