Job Description: Facility Scheduling Management: * Supervise and manage reservable Kress Events Center indoor and outdoor athletic and recreational facilities utilizing the Enterprise Event Management System (EMS) software program. * Act as the primary scheduler for overseeing the reservations of activity spaces and times for various user groups including, but not limited to: Green Bay athletics events and practices, opponent practices, intramurals, group exercise, open recreation activities, student organizations, campus activities, outside user groups and rentals. * Update facility schedule and reservations on a daily basis. Plan, Direct and Review Games/Event Management: * Responsible for developing procedures for management of all events held in the Kress Events Center facilities as well as the outdoor athletic fields (soccer and softball competition facilities). * Oversee, supervise and perform all set-up, tear-down and management of all special events including athletic contests, student organization requests, campus meetings and events and community rentals. * Serve as the lead on-site contact and support for clients before and during large and/or complex events as needed and/or scheduled. * Lead the Kress Events Center event planning and review meetings and participate in planning meetings with clients for large and/or complex events as needed. * Use Meeting Matrix software program to develop and maintain diagrams and space layouts to assist in appropriate and capacity-safe event set-ups. Supervisory: * Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate all event staff, including student employees, ushers, ticket takers and table crew. * Manage HRS system and coordinate bi-weekly student and LTE payroll processing for staff. Assist in Facility Rental Policy Development: * Develop Facility Rental policy. * Establish facility and equipment rental fees. * Prepare estimates of fees for organizations seeking to rent Kress Events Center facilities and outdoor spaces. * Draft appropriate facility use agreements and ensure they are properly returned with all necessary lessee rental requirements being met. * Assess charges and prepare invoices for facility rentals, including labor costs, technical services, signs and other special fees as well as track payment made by rental parties. * Ensure that proper departments are credited for their services. Administrative: * Develop, maintain and administer budget for reservations and event services including supplies and expenses, wages and capital purchases. * Assist in overseeing the design and implementation of the Events Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and the Events Risk Management Plan to ensure event safety and security. * Assist in the update of all event promotional and educational materials including usage fees, equipment listings and fees, room features and capacities and services offered., Please go to www.uwgb.edu… to view full job posting.

Education Required: REQUIRED: *Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Sports Management, Event Management, Program Management, Recreation Management, Exercise Science, Physical Education or related field * Demonstrated experience in event management and operations * Supervisory and training experience * Working knowledge of event and facility space scheduling * Excellent verbal and written communications skills * Excellent organizational skills, problem solving ability, and attention to detail * CPR/First-Aid/AED Certification
Experience Required: PREFERRED: * Earned or progress towards Master's Degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Program Management or related field * Prior experience specific to athletic games event management * Experience working with Enterprise EMS (Event Management Systems) and Meeting Matrix software experience or like scheduling and room diagram software * Experience with developing facility use agreements and invoice statements.
