Job Description: • Receive incoming calls for solicitation of new business., • Qualify new business opportunities to determine if follow up is required by a Sales Account Manager or if Dura-Fibre should decline the opportunity or quote the new business., • Log any new business opportunities and follow up weekly with any new leads or hand off to an Account Manager if the business opportunity is highly profitable and a large opportunity., • Assist the Director of Sales with projects for Major Accounts., • Assist in marketing initiatives. Maintain and update company website as requested., • Create/Mail product information sheets, literature and samples to current or potential customers., • Assist with informing customers of new product launches or new distribution of existing products., • Schedule and organize complex activities such as outside and internal sales related meetings. Will include meeting agendas and minutes., • Create and develop visual presentations as needed for the Sales team., • Prepare reports for the Sales Team that help aid in successful Sales calls. • Work integrally with all departments (Design, Quality, Customer Service, Accounting, Operations) to aid Sales with new business opportunities., • Manage company participation in trade shows., • Prepare a weekly recap to the Sales Team and Leadership Team showing new and past leads that require follow up and a summary of upcoming major events planned including trials, website updates, tradeshows, upcoming major customer visits and summaries of visits that occurred during the week. • Act as a liaison (gate keeper) between Sales and Production/Quality to ensure matters are handled in a timely manner for all major accounts.

Education Required: • 2 year Associate degree required, 4 year Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience Required: • Minimum of 2 years Sales/Customer Service experience., • Prior event planning or tradeshow experience a plus., • Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Good time management skills are required., • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point, Access and E-mail)., • Ability to quickly understand company software systems (Raptor, Amtech, Red Hawk, Crystal Reports, etc.), • Excellent phone etiquette. Good interpersonal skills., • Dependable, takes initiative and takes pride in work., • Ability to gain a comprehensive knowledge of customer base, vendor relationships, key contacts and products at Dura-Fibre LLC.
