Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Planning & Development, the County Planner is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of comprehensive land use plans for Shawano County and local levels of government. Duties include the planning and directing of park and trail capital improvement projects; preparing grant applications, monitoring budgets and project/grant administration; assisting local governments with solid waste planning, comprehensive plan implementation and land use education.
