Job Description: Angelus Village is a new and exciting assisted living facility that will be opening in July 2012. Currently we are accepting applications for a full time director of dietary services. This person will be responsible for preparing food according to menus, recipes, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and numbers of portions to be served. Other responsibilities will include monitoring food preparation, ordering food and beverages, training new employees in the food service department, keeping records regarding sanitation, maintaining an accurate monthly food inventory, removing garbage and recyclables daily, and scheduling dietary staff. The ideal candidate for this position will have food production experience, experience providing excellent customer and personal service, have good leadership skills, and have knowledge of relevant equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
