Job Description: Technical Design and Publications:, •Research, create, illustrate, and update operator’s manuals, parts manuals, field kits, parts and service bulletins, and any other required instructions for all Magnum equipment, •Assist Sales and Marketing with line art or special instructions as needed, •Maintain electronic file of all product literature, Products Labels:, •Design and produce first build prototype and pre-production decals for new products, •Provide technical input and design ideas to Engineering during new production initiation, •Support Engineering with testing of decal materials and product, •Support Manufacturing with labeling procedures and work documentation, •Alter new and existing designs as needed to improve fit and function, •Maintain information regarding tests and prototype builds, Additional Responsibilities:, •Practice safe work habits, following safety guidelines and support company safety initiatives, •Provide technical materials for Magnum web site, •Work with prototyping and line assembly in the assembly of equipment to determine proper illustrations and instructions.

Education Required: •Technical degree in Technical Communications and/or Mechanical Design and at least 2 years advanced technical writing experience or equivalent •Strong mechanical aptitude. •Experience with Desktop Publishing software: Adobe Framemaker and Adobe Illustrator preferred. Experience with Solidworks preferred., •Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MRP systems (BOM), •Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, •Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
