Job Description: St. Norbert College currently has an opening for an Assistant Manager for Ruth’s Marketplace. This is a supervisory position and is responsible for directing full, part-time and student staff during meal plan service; assisting the Marketplace Manager in executing daily operations in a fiscally responsible manner, as well as performing other service duties in the dining room. This is a 10 month position and will work from approximately July 20th through May 20th each year. Hours for this position are typically Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 3:30pm or as scheduled for full-time weekend relief and every 8th weekend, variable hours. Summer hours will vary based on conference business. Experience Required: The preferred candidate will possess 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the institutional or retail food service industry with Serve-Safe Certification. Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated customer service and leadership experience are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds.
