Job Description: Responsible for monitoring production processes and employees on a day to day basis. Lead Person will not be assigned to any one machine but will be able to fill for call-ins and vacations as needed. Specific Duties & Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:, 1.Provide training for new and existing employees to maintain current knowledge relative to production and quality standards. 2.Fill in for call-ins and/or vacations as needed, 3.Assist Manager in adjusting crew schedule for call ins, 4.Reports personnel issues to Manager, 5.Proactively promotes open exchange of information and communication with the department and supervisor, 6.Monitor productions speeds and quality, 7.Aid with change-overs, 8.Assist in looking up information on specific jobs, 9.Provide break relief when needed, 10.Assist with prioritizing maintenance change-overs, 11.Assist during set-up, clean up, color matching, deck sequence and Anilox roll, 12.Plate making as needed, 13.Plate mounting as needed, Expectations: 1.Know and/or learn how to operate all equipment in assigned area, 2.Follow all safety practices, 3.Lead by example: Maintain positive attitude, good attendance and conform to all Creative Converting policies, Qualifications:, Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to do basic math skills and possess basic communication skills., Language Skills: Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions, short memos, specifications, documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals., , Experience: One to three years’production experience is beneficial to perform successfully in this position., ORGANIZATIONAL, SKILLS: Ability to organize, self-direct, and prioritize a variety of initiatives as directed by the production supervisor. Ability to practice excellent time management skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to both direct and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
