Job Description: SUMMARY:, Applicants must be able to design new and/or make modifications to existing metal parts, components and machine layouts using 2D and 3D CAD. Work closely with managers to provide designs that meet customer requirements., DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:, * Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Microsoft Office., * Responsible for measuring and documentation of design for machine components., * Responsible for measuring and documenting existing machine footprint layouts. * Must ensure the accuracy of drawings., * Must adhere to appropriate application of CAD methodology, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards., * Coordinates and works in conjunction with engineering designing, laying out, or detailing components or assemblies., * Develops design of details not completely defined., * Projects sections and auxiliary views of components on layouts., * Makes corrections, revisions, and changes to layouts as directed., * Perform checking activities of the same for accuracy and application * Other duties as assigned by the needs of the department or company, REQUIREMENTS:, * Strong organizational/communication skills, ability to work with others in a team environment. * Work well with Microsoft Office programs., * Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor, * Flexible scheduling, * High School Diploma or GED, * Willing to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment * Ability to work in high and/or confining work spaces * Strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, * Minimum of a 2 year towards degree in Industrial Engineering, Drafting or similar field, PREFFERD:, * Analytical ability, understand of engineering theory and principles of design, * Performs mathematical calculations to work out detailed additions to specifications., * Independent decision-making, resolution skills and strong problem identification skills This is a great opportunity for the right individual.
