Job Description: Junior Estimator-Construction Trades - This position assists with coordinating bidding, buyout and contract award and budgets for multiple job projects. Under the direction of the Lead Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting with take-offs and obtaining and analyzing bids from suppliers and subcontractors. You will prepare and material take-offs, assist project mangers in the assembly of project budgets, assist in budgets, read and review blueprints and plans and other material handling and ordering. You will work closely with the Project Managers to set up estimates and review of bids.

Base Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
Education Required: Trade school-College Degree plus work experience
Experience Required: Qualifications: Must be able to read construction plans preferably from a commercial construction environment, Must be able to do accurate material and time estimates. Must have a minimum of five years of field construction experience and/or trade school certificate/degree in construction or estimating related field. Must be able to utilize computers. Must have strong math skills. Ability to communicate effectively is essential both in writing and orally. Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
