Job Description: Department: Paint, Category: Full-time, nonexempt, Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm -10:00 pm (2nd shift), Position Description:, Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform the preparation work necessary for parts prior to painting. Assist in the paint application process., Primary Responsibilities:, •Perform related work such as cleaning, wire brushing and other preliminary operations to prepare materials for coating, •Process each part by washing and hanging in the racking prior to paint application, •Ensure that parts are prepared according to production needs, •Transport finished and unfinished product to and from the appropriate work areas, •Perform work in adherence with quality standards, •Practice safe work habits, following safety guidelines with respect to operation and personal safety gear, and support company safety initiatives, Additional Responsibilities:, •Assist in cleaning and maintaining spray booth and preparation area in a clean, operating and safe condition, •Assist in other work areas as needed, •Repair/correction of errors, •Participation in training sessions, •Assist in training of coworkers, •Other duties as directed
