Job Description: The Village of Hobart, WI, (population ~ 6,500 and growing) a high-end community bordering Green Bay, WI is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Public Works & Utility Crew Member. The position performs work in the installation, maintenance and operation of Village infrastructure and facilities such as buildings & grounds, roads, ditches, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water distribution. Additionally this position is responsible for snow and ice removal and is also required for rotational weekend duties including carrying an emergency phone to respond to emergencies. Requirements include: a high school diploma or GED; knowledge of municipal water, sewer, storm sewer and road construction and maintenance; valid WI Driver’s License and Class B CDL with a good driving record. Prior experience of at least 2 years in a public work-related field, including operation of municipal plow trucks with wing, is desirable but not required. This is a non-exempt position, scheduled for 32 hours per week (average.) The pay range is $16.82 - $17.50 per hour plus an excellent fringe benefits package.
