Job Description: Ensure that quality documents are written, reviewed and approved by the appropriate personnel. Create and maintain a master list of controlled quality documents. This includes document revision control to prevent personnel from using incorrect documentation. Collaborate with Sales on all customer required audits. This includes verifying all documents are up to date and available for scheduled audits. Participate in customer required audits as needed. Oversee customer complaint resolution process for manufacturing/sales related complaints. Collect and organize data related to internal waste and the corrective/preventive actions taken to eliminate waste. Produce and distribute monthly quality metrics. Develop and maintain a calibrated instrument database including interval review and certification of instrumentation. Develop and train internal auditing team. Audit processes that are changed due to quality issues and verify changes are implemented and sustained. Implement necessary changes based on audit findings. Work with Industrial Engineer when changing any manufacturing processes. Provide back-up assistance to Director of Quality. Travel to jobsites when required. Serve as a resource for technical questions to Sales and Manufacturing personnel. Work on quality related projects assigned by Director of Quality as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements, Strong analytical, troubleshooting and mathematical skills are a job requirement. Must know how to proficiently operate personal computer, and have a high proficiency of Word and Excel programs. Self-directed and self-motivated with good organizational skills. Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting strict deadlines. Keen attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Proven team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills. Customer service oriented with a positive attitude. Utilize justifiable independent judgment and decision making skills.
