Job Description: The City of Algoma needs a flexible, motivated professional to oversee all recreational activities at our Youth Club, Community Building, and City Parks. Ideal applicants will have superior communication skills, experience planning and facilitating activities/events for children of all ages, ability to establish and work within a controlled budget, and flexibility for some night and weekend responsibilities. The Recreation Director will be responsible for managing a small staff of part-time employees and coordinating completion of essential duties with other City Departments and personnel.
