Job Description: St. Norbert College Department of Sociology seeks adjunct instructors to teach in our human service concentration/minor. Immediate needs are for candidates qualified to teach Social Work Practice with Individuals and/or Social Work Practice with Organizations, Communities, and Social Institutions in the Spring 2013 semester. In addition, we seek to identify a pool of qualified candidates interested in possible future adjunct teaching opportunities. Duties: Adjunct instructors will teach 1-2 courses in a semester and work with the Director of the Human Services program to ensure all courses meet state requirements for the Social Work Training Certificate educational guidelines. Experience Required: Preference will be given to those with social work practice experience and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Readiness to teach any or all of the following courses (in order of preference): Social Work Practice with Individuals, Social Work Practice with Organizations, Communities, and Social Institutions, Social Work Practice with Groups and Families, Social Welfare Policy, and Human Behavior in the Social Environment.
