Job Description: POSITION OVERVIEW, Provide support to both the Production Control Department and Sales Dept. by updating reports for the Axle Build Line-up and reports for the Open Service Orders. This includes prioritizing customer orders, detailing the status of orders, creating work orders in JDE, and assisting in keeping inventory levels accurate., ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, • Assist in developing the Daily Build Axle Lineup Report to include a two-week report of planned jobs, their associated shortages, and the build date priority, • Sequence the sales orders and their assigned work orders in JDE, • Analyze the release of service orders for facilities, • Conduct a weekly BDC service meeting with Commodity Planning to update and maintain promises on estimated delivery schedules from our vendors, • Assist in creating work orders for the subassembly level in JDE for the carrier lineup, direct carriers for service, and subassemblies for service, • Maintain an accurate tracking report for service to assist in analyzing service releases and work order creation. Maintain part shortages, lines released and lines shipped, • Assist Sales with the U/D and subassembly releases of pick cards to the stockroom and shipping department, • Analyze and fix the daily negative inventories that are created by missed transactions. Work closely with the stockroom to aid in the investigation of why a negative occurred, • Help maintain accurate inventory levels • Prepare a weekly shortage report • Review completed work orders at status 90 to make sure parts are properly ordered and issued, • Maintain a weekly report that shows the Production Plan of all axles scheduled, • Run various reports in JDE

Education Required: Required: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
Experience Required: Skills/ Abilities, • Stockroom and Cycle Counting Experience, • Ability to analyze material flow transactions with an on-line integrated materials system - JD Edwards, • Thorough understanding of (MRP), (BOM), Item Availability, and Item Usage, • Extensive understanding of Excel v-looks and Access database tables and queries, • Ability to work with detailed numbers -- ACCURACY a must when dealing with part numbers and quantities
