Job Description: This position is responsible for performing origination of new deposit products and support to existing deposit products. This position provides expert technical and operational support, training and knowledge for all functions related to the banks product processing requests. A broad knowledge of products and services that the bank offers is required. This position will work directly with the bank’s customers, internal and external to accurately process all deposit operation requests. Provide assistance to the manager and Lead of Deposit Operations., Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:, • Responsible for new deposit products for consumer accounts, account funding, and debit card origination., • Responsible for maintenance of existing deposit products which includes; CD renewals, product changes, name and title changes, and general account maintenance. • Responsible for online banking and estatement enrollment., • Establish account transfers to include overdraft and sweep accounts., • Responsible for all research requests received from internal and external clients related to new business and product support transactions. • Actively manage new deposit account fraud in partnership with Deposit Operations Manager and other business units to mitigate risk., • Serve as frontline contact for both internal and external customers., • Ability to take on and manage additional projects outside of the regular daily duties., • CI projects as appropriate.

Education Required: • High School/equivalent education
Experience Required: • 1 year of banking operations experience required with customer service experience preferred. • FIS platform experience preferred, • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills. Ability to act as a resource for a diverse group of people at various levels within or outside Thrivent Bank. • Good organizational, time management and problem solving skills., • Ability to work accurately, with interruptions to meet deadlines., • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team., • Ability to exercise flexibility and good judgment.
