Job Description: Assembly Line Workers– Frozen Pizza, Temp-To-Hire!, Qualifications: Summary:, Entry-level position capable of operating departmental equipment necessary in the production and/or packaging of quality pizzas and abiding by GMP and Safety rules. Specific duties and machinery required to operate will vary per department., Essential duties and Responsibilities: Capable of meeting or exceeding designated efficiency and productivity rates., Ability to differentiate between the acceptable and unacceptable quality of raw materials., Ability to accurately fill out paperwork. Ability to perform and rotate through each of the positions on the assigned line., Ability to change sauce heads as needed., Ability to monitor and keep inventory of the hopper levels., Willing to assist other employees and departments as needed., Work according to company policies, safety rules, GMP regulations and perform good housekeeping practices., Willing to perform other duties as assigned., To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have stable job history with at least 6 months of recent work experience within the past year. Ability to speak effectively one-on-one with other employees or before groups of employees., Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s., Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations., Physical Demands:, The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. (average) to 40 lbs maximum, Grasping/Holding, Seldom – 2 lbs to 2 ½ lbs maximum, Walk/Knee and/or Stoop, Occasionally, Work Environment:, While performing the duties of the job, employee will be exposed to extreme cold and will work near moving mechanical parts. There may be a risk of electrical shock when proper precautions are not made. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee will be exposed to machinery and failure to follow the safety rules and procedures may expose him or her to risk. The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment., Compensation:, $10.00 to $10.30 per hour, Shifts:, 12 hour shifts: Days and Nights, 2-2-3 Rotation including every other weekend.
