Job Description: Cherney Microbiological Services LTD, is seeking a team-oriented, self-starter with a broad financial background and strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to fill its first Controller position. This position is ideal for a person who desires a professional financial leadership role while maintaining a work and life balance. This position includes a full benefit package., Cherney Microbiological Services, LTD is a fast-growing company with around 50 employees located in a turnkey, state of the art facility in the I-43 Business Park in Green Bay, WI. The company serves as a contract laboratory specializing in microbiological testing and technical support for companies manufacturing dairy, paper, meat, vegetable, cosmetic, personal care, and industrial cleaning products. Dedication to precision, accuracy and excellent customer service has resulted in years of sustained growth, on both a regional and national level since 1989., Candidates will be responsible for the following key accountabilities: • Financial Analysis - Provide proactive financial analysis, cost accounting, banking relationships, new business quote preparation, ROI analysis and recommendations to optimize the financial performance of the company. • Management team member - Be a contributing member of the leadership and strategic planning teams., • Tactical HR/Benefit Management - Manage all aspects of Human Resources and Benefit Management in an effort to manage costs, provide competitive benefits and select, develop and retain the talent necessary to implement the strategy., • IT Function - Oversee the IT consulting group to ensure smooth and stable IT performance and optimize efficiencies., • Office Team - Build a skill set-aligned, high performance office team through clear expectations, empowerment and accountability., Direct Reports – Accounting Manager, Purchasing Coordinator, IT Consultant, Courier Drivers, Position Reports to - President
