For more information, visit www.goodrich.com, [DESCRIPTION] 2nd shift- 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday, SUMMARY, Set-up adjust and operate a variety of machine tools to perform progressive machining operations on a diversified line of close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill and machining techniques., Typical assignments include complicated work with exacting requirements as to tolerance and surface finish, Read blueprints or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and other requirements, Measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining, Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines., Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut., Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining. Adjust machine controls as required to bring part into tolerance., Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, Confer with engineers, supervisor or other production personnel to resolve machining or assembly problems, Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines in the shop [ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS] QUALIFICATIONS:, Perform each essential duty satisfactorily as determined by supervisor, Must comply with prescribed safety regulations, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:, 6-12 months of on-the-job training in a machine-tool environment, Or an equivalent combination of education and experience [CLOSING] EOE D/M/F/V Years Experience: 2 Education Required: High School Degree Job Posting Type: Direct Travel: 0% Job Level: Mid-Career Part Time / Full Time: Full Time Paid Relocation: No Number of Openings: 1
