Job Description: Seeking an experienced electrical/mechanical machine assembler and service technician of custom material handling equipment. The ability to travel on service calls imperative. The time you spend out in the field will truly depend upon your desire to travel. There is a lot more earning potential when you are out in the field. You could grow to 100% travel if you desire. Starting pay could be as high as $25/hr for the right candidate. • Travel is US and international • Must have a "clean" valid driver’s license and a credit card. • The company will usually pay for the hotel and flight but they will need a card for car rental etc., and will be reimbursed later. • Must have; or be able to get a Passport • You will be working on their packaging equipment from in house assembly to assembly, troubleshooting and repair out in the field. • Electrical skills will primarily involve wiring, switches, guards etc...PLC troubleshooting and editing skills are a definite plus but not a must. • E/M troubleshooting skills are imperative. If they narrow it down to a controls or computer issue they can dial in or send someone else out. • This is a smaller OEM with lots of opportunity to be hands on and grow with the company.
