Job Description: QPS Employment Group has immediate opportunities available for Machine Operators at a manufacturer in Green Bay, WI. These are temporary positions with all shifts available. Hours vary. Responsibilities:, • Responsible for safe, efficient and continuous operation of machine on a daily basis, based on company standards. • Ensure that quality products are produced in the appropriate quantity and within the established guidelines. • Work as a productive member/lead of the manufacturing team., • Performs minor maintenance on production equipment per schedule and whenever necessary., • Must work in a safe and ethical manner at all times., • Understand and comply with all lockout/tag out procedures., • Understanding of: emergency stops, main electrical disconnects, interlocks, main air supply and air dump valves., • Knowledge of converting equipment., • Understanding of sanitization /changeover matrix processes., • Maintain/follow all 5S and 3S concepts established for the manufacturing area., • Ensures machine(s) set-up before each run and tear down/line clearance after each run., • Ensures/Verifies that assigned machine operates at optimal efficiency based on established centerlines., • Monitors and verifies the quality of jobs periodically throughout the run., • Responsible for input output of product, reporting any deviance’s from the plan., • Ensures that all production reporting and data collection is completed in a timely manner using scanners and computer system., • Works with/Directs and Interacts with the rest of the team working on the line., • Suggests/Participate in process improvements to maintain or exceed customer expectations., • Responsible for area cleanup, • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
