Job Description: Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards of cleanliness and impeccable condition. Work as an individual in a section of rooms as assigned daily by the Executive Housekeeper. Clean common areas and meeting rooms when requested. Stock carts and closets with required linens and supplies. Remove dirty linen, dishes and garbage from carts, closets and hallways at the end of each shift. Ensure all rooms and items in them are in good working order to insure guest satisfaction and notify the Executive Housekeeper or maintenance regarding required repairs. Maintain a neat and clean appearance to housekeeping carts. Provide guests assistance with questions regarding the hotel, its services and the surrounding area. Fulfill special requests in person or with the assistance of other staff members. Demonstrate professional and effective communication skills with guests and co-workers. Always monitor equipment and facilities and promptly report any situation that could result in potential loss, damage, injury or other liability to individuals or company property. Represent company in a friendly and professional manner. Responsible for proper key, room and property security procedures. Sort laundry, operate commercial laundry equipment, fold and stack clean laundry product. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required: Prior cleaning and/or janitorial experience is helpful but not essential. Excellent physical condition is important as the duration of each shift is spent on one's feet. The job requires standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. There is repetitive use of hands involving pushing and pulling, simple grasping and fine manipulation. Must be able to project a positive, friendly attitude to ensure guests are treated with courtesy and a smile whenever encountered. Demonstrate a team player attitude and be willing to assist in all areas of housekeeping. Must have flexible work schedule and work as required.
