Job Description: The Development Director is responsible for developing and executing the affiliate’s overall fundraising program. Key functions include prospecting for new donors, establishing and maintaining relationships with donors and increasing the support of existing contributors. Critical functions include development and implementation of a strategic fundraising plan, collaboration with our Fundraising Committee consisting of Board members and other volunteers, involvement in planning & executing special events, researching grant opportunities and facilitating planned giving. Desirable attributes for the position include experience in donor development and community relations, the personality and self-confidence to develop strong relationships with donors, organizational skills, attention to detail & follow-up, superior oral, written, presentation & interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. This is a newly created position at Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
