Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. The primary responsibility will be direct support of our client’s Machining Operations. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of all production related manufacturing equipment & processes required to manufacture a high quality product in a repeatable, timely and cost effective manner. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will drive improvements in all related manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering processes, including those related to products, programming, equipment, human interface and product quality. This person will be responsible for all associated metrics management, financial management, staffing, leadership, strategic development and execution, process development, product support and new process development/qualification. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will ensure the required technical support for all critical process and product issue resolution as well as technical direction to the engineer is available for all product builds and process operations. Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a technically and financially effective *world class” Manufacturing Engineering organization. Candidate will lead the Manufacturing Engineering Organization and support both the tactical and strategic objectives through the implementation of lean, standard work, documentation and improvement of manufacturing methods, implementation of capital equipment and advancement of manufacturing technology throughout Operations. Candidate’s Organization will be ultimately responsible for the creation of all Process Plans, CNC programs, tool planning, fixtures, prove-out and troubleshooting of processes, cost estimates, time standards, inspection plans, gage planning, RRCA, Escape management, Defect reduction, technical support of the shop floor, specification, justification and implementation of capital equipment, development of new processes, implementation of lean concepts on the Manufacturing floor and in the office, and support Design for manufacturability efforts. Candidate will lead by example, create a vision and drive expectations for all ME activities while integrating EH&S, Quality, Delivery, Product Cost, Inventory goals and ACE into their daily tasks and projects.
