Job Description: Functional Area: Operations, Industry: Third Party Logistics/Warehousing Industry Location: Appleton, WI, Position Type: Full-Time, Position Description:, The primary role of the Network System Administrator is to perform effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of LAN and WAN hardware and software and related infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls). The Network Administrator need solid technical skills and experience with a variety of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations. The position requires strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills along with good communication abilities. In addition, the individual will rotate on a 24/7 on call basis in the event of network failures or emergencies., Primary Responsibilities:, Plan, install, configure, monitor, and maintain local and wide area network (LAN/WAN), servers, routers, switches, workstations, and any other infrastructure component. Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure network, hardware and software performance meets company and user requirements Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS Install, configure, and maintain networks, network cabling, routers (Cisco), switches (Cisco and HP ProCurve), Firewalls, and VPN access Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, printers, copiers, and related equipment Install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications including Exchange 2010, Kaspersky Suite, Symantec Backup Exec, VMware vSphere and Citrix environments Provide desktop, laptop, application, and peripheral support to employees in multiple offices Provide telephony system support (Mitel) Manage mobile devices and contracts Manage Wireless Infrastructure (Ruckus Wireless), Motorola handhelds, Motorola push to talk WiFi radios Position Requirements, Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration and/or equivalent job experience with at least 2 years’ experience with medium sized networks Experience with Exchange 2010, Citrix, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, VMware ESXi 5.0 Experience with Cisco ASA, routers, switches, HP ProCurve Switches, IPSec VPN Knowledge of networking hardware, standards, and protocols Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, and procedures Ability to install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, networks, and related hardware and software Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities Ability to provide technical support to end-users Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel Ability to learn and support new systems and applications Work with users requires interpersonal skills Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported WOW offers a full benefit package, including: health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401k plan (plus company matching incentives), paid vacations, holiday pay, profit sharing and more.
