Job Description: Position Summary: Develops and maintains business relationships with new and existing commercial borrowers and deposit customers. Services a wide variety of businesses and individuals loans, both secured and unsecured. Principal Responsibilities and Duties:, 1. Provides and Services Commercial Customers Loan Needs, A. Interviews applicants to develop information concerning their business, needs, desires, abilities and earnings to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk. B. Makes decisions on loans and terms within own lending limits, or makes recommendations on significant loans to a supervisor. C. Underwrites loans acceptable to loan policy guidelines., D. Reviews closing documents and closes loan with customer., E. Follows current loans to ensure complete conformity with terms and knowledge of developing trends. F. Provides advice and guidance to team members on commercial lending practices and procedures. 2. Promotes Business Development, A. Calls on existing or potential customers to develop new business and to retain or increase existing business. B. Cross-sells and refers a full range of banking services to present and potential customers. C. Meets with customers to discuss needs and recommends ways the bank can serve their needs., D. Supports and assists in the implementation of all bank marketing and sales strategies designed to maximize growth and profitability. E. Maintains positive relationships with bank staff and works with management to help facilitate a total team concept., F. Keep informed on changes within our market, recommending market opportunities for growth and development. 3. Maintains Collections and Charge Off Accounts, A. Reviews delinquent reports and/or files to determine plan of action., B. Executes plan of action-phone, letters with goal being to determine problem and resolve.
