Job Description: Responsible for culinary functions related to the restaurant operation including but not limited to:, - Menu inspiration and design, - Accurate and effective cooking of meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products, - Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking, - Inventory management, - Preparation and maintenance of quality standards, - Sanitation and cleanliness, - Training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness, - Internal marketing of features

Education Required: - State of Wisconsin Food Manager, - Associate's degree in culinary arts desired
Experience Required: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking, - At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity, - This position needs to effectively work with their peer responsible for banquet and catering operations, Chef - Banquet and Catering Lead, - Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel in verbal and written communication methods, - Technology proficiencies; Microsoft Word and Excel along with the internet and social media, - Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. - Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
