Job Description: Transition your purchasing and procurement expertise into a thriving company! Under minimal supervision of the Materials Planning Manager, the Senior Buyer/Planner performs the following functions: Manage applicable Value Stream performance indicators. Maintain, level load and execute the Master Schedule. Develop a materials plan that supports the Forecast. Analyze MRP and release new orders and re-schedule orders to suppliers. Manage and report inventory levels. Maintain data integrity and material planning parameters. Manage late orders., Support Order Management, Project Management and Strategic Procurement in meeting customer needs and corporate objectives. Manage product purchase orders and select appropriate suppliers. Implement materials strategies with suppliers., Set purchased parts Standard Costs. Manage return goods to suppliers. Manage supplier performance and problem resolution; champion Price, Delivery, Quality (PDQ) methodologies with suppliers., Establish and implement annual cost reduction/containment goals

Base Pay: $50-$60K annually based on experience
Education Required: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline required.
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Negotiating skills. Commodity knowledge across a wide spectrum of materials and services. Experience with Oracle strongly preferred. A.P.I.C.S certification a plus. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Project Management experience. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
