Job Description: The Senior Applications Developer will support all phases of the system development life cycle; including analysis, planning, design, programming, testing, implementation and documentation of all business software applications. In addition, this position will mentor development staff, manage IT projects and serve as a backup to the Technical Services Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:, •Create and maintain programs using all of the application development tools deployed by Hoffmaster Group, Inc.; including but not limited to RPG400, RPG4/ILE, RPG Free, CL, DDS, SQL, iforms, Sequel, TL AshFord and Mark Magic. •Support Harris Data, ERP LX , Stratum, PKMS, and all other system i software applications., •Ensure code is thoroughly tested and signed off by users and developers prior to promoting to production environment., •Responsible for documentation and communication of all programs/processes., •Employ effective troubleshooting/problem solving skills., •Responsible for designing solutions that support the business initiatives and goals of Hoffmaster., •Project lead for key IT business initiatives., •Act as a helpdesk resource.
