Job Description: The City of Appleton is currently accepting applications for a Meeting Recorder. This position is located in the Office of the City Clerk and will be the primary minute recorder for governmental committee meetings. Duties include attending morning and evening committee meetings, capturing the minutes of the meeting with the use of a laptop and voice digital recording device, and promptly finalizing the minutes for publication. Applicants must possess an understanding of governmental meeting procedures, proficiency in typing, excellent writing skills, discretion with sensitive information, initiative and independent judgment.
