Job Description: Primary Responsibilities:, Technical Design and Publications:, Research, create and update owner’s manuals, technical manuals, field kits, supplements, user guides, handbooks and any other required instructions for all Magnum custom and non-custom built equipments., Assist Sales and Marketing with line art or special instructions as needed., Maintain electronic file of all product literature., Support creation of parts and service bulletins., Update wiring diagrams as required and maintain electronic file., Model parts using Adobe Illustrator and solidworks., Products Labels:, Design and produce first build prototype and pre-production decals for new products., Provide technical input and design ideas to Engineering during new production initiation., Support Engineering with testing of decal materials and product., Support Manufacturing with labeling procedures and work documentation., Alter new and existing designs as needed to improve fit and function., Maintain information regarding tests and prototype builds., Additional Responsibilities:, Practice safe work habits, following safety guidelines and support company safety initiatives., Provide technical materials for Magnum web site., Work with prototyping and line assembly in the assembly of equipment to determine proper illustrations and placement on equipment.

Education Required: Technical degree in Technical Writing and/or Mechanical Design and at least 2 years advanced technical writing experience or equivalent
Experience Required: Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, wiring schematics and connection diagrams., Proficiency with Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Illustrator software. Proficiency with Solidworks, and AutoCAD preferred., Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MRP systems (BOM)., Working knowledge of screen print and four-color process printing and Pantone Matching system for colors., Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills., Ability to work with adhesives and labeling materials., Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
