Job Description: The Finance Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting and operations finance, including ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Finance Manager also assists operations in evaluating opportunities for efficiency and cost improvements. •Maintain financial reporting for Consumer Division, including assuming ownership of balance sheet, income statements, and management reports, •Responsible for detailed income statement and balance sheet projections (annual budget and periodic forecast), •Analyze financial results, projections, and include recommendations, •Assist operations with evaluating projects, validating metrics, quantifying hourly incentive programs (including Make versus Buy, Lease versus Buy, and other operating decision points), •Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement, •Responsible for the areas of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, cost/inventory accounting, and bill of materials which includes 6 direct reports, and 4 indirect reports, •Serve as point of contact for external audit, •Bank responsibilities including payment approvals
