Job Description: Develop sales/business leads, sell transportation services, and market transportation company on a regional basis. Manage current customer accounts and contact potential customers. Solicit and secure new business and help existing clients expand the use of company services. Prepare and present rate quotes and proposals for various current and potential customers. Prepare sales contracts for new accounts. Maintain regular communication with customers of various sizes, building relationships, problem solving, and assessing their needs. Implement solutions and handle the day-to-day challenges that are presented in the transportation industry. Prepare reports as required by management. Travel for customer sales meetings and reviews as necessary.
