Job Description: The City of Shawano, WI seeks a professional Clerk/Treasurer. Shawano is located 35 miles west of Green Bay with a population of 9,305. This is a regular full time position reporting to the City Administrator, Mayor, and City Council. The employee will perform a wide variety of complex and routine accounting, finance, and clerk functions. They will maintain the fiscal records and systems of the City, as well as carrying out other statutory duties of Treasurer and Clerk, such as maintaining official City records and supervising elections. (Minimum Qualifcation), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certificate (Highly Desired), Wisconins Municipal Clerks and Treasurer Certifications. (Highly Desired), Experience in Water/Sewer funds. (Highly Desired)
