Job Description: • Responsible for managing the instructional process, associated curriculum review and development, and student advising within the area of instruction. • Provide educational leadership and work effectively with applicable committees, faculty, administration and community groups., • Assignments will emphasize courses delivered in traditional and alternate modes, scheduled weekdays, evenings and/or weekends in classrooms or academic skills lab, • Proctor TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) pre-testing and post testing., • Facilitate completion of State and NWTC required paperwork for each student., • Assignments for this position are specifically located at the Sturgeon Bay campus unless workload needs permits bidding on in-team assignments at other locations.

Base Pay: Based on a standard 180-day academic year, half-time obligation, minimum starting salary is $28,431 for a Master’s degree and minimum experience. Maximum salary is $38,989 for a Doctorate’s degree and appropriate experience. Indexed salary table. (2011-2012 rates)
Education Required: • Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics with a minimum of 18 graduate level credits in Mathematics, plus 3 semester credits of reading instruction and teaching methods. At least 8 of the credit must be in Calculus.
Experience Required: • Must possess a strong background of working with non-traditional students., • Minimum of one year occupational experience in a field other than education required. • Must be eligible for certification under the Wisconsin Technical College System. • Prior teaching experience with adult basic education, preferred., • Candidates that have successful teaching experience with minority students or in minority communities preferred., • Candidates that are bilingual in Spanish or Hmong preferred., • Ability to work in a team environment., • Ability to work non-standard hours including evenings and weekends.
