Job Description: Seeking a skilled Electrical Designer with Strong AutoCAD skills, preferably AutoCAD Electrical. This position is responsible for developing the electrical drawings which communicate the design and/or assembly of the electrical and pneumatic control system for packaging and material handling equipment in accordance with customer and company specifications.

Education Required: AAS in Electronic and Computer Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Technology from an accredited college is preferred; however equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience Required: The ideal candidate needs to be proficient in electrical and pneumatic industrial control system design using computer aided design tools, preferably AutoCAD Electrical version 2008 or higher. Ability to learn engineering application software programs such as those used for PLC and HMI development, control panel heating/cooling calculators, etc. Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Paint are a necessity. Basic understanding of electrical circuit theory and industrial control system theory is required. Use appropriate problem-solving methods to identify, analyze, and solve problems in an engineering environment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, plant/equipment layout drawings, and governmental regulations; proficient in the current National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Association standard 79E, and Underwriter's Laboratory standard 508a. Communicate design ideas using a variety of communication methods. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Function effectively and productively within a team-focused work group.
