Job Description: Independent currently has several full-time openings on 2nd shift for machine operators, Folder Operator: responsible for the set-up and operation of our Stahl folders and Polar papercutters in the accurate, efficient completion of finishing work. Additional responsibilities will include operating other machine finishing equipment when needed., Kluge Foil Stamping & Embossing Operator: responsible for the set up and operation of our Kluge EHD foil and embossing presses in the completion of post-press operations, including the foiling, embossing, perforating, scoring, and die cutting of printed pieces. Will also run duplicate machines when needed, serving as back up on our 32” die cutters.

Experience Required: We seek mechanically inclined, computer literate, quality- and detail-oriented individuals who work independently and efficiently in completing assigned tasks. Previous machine finishing experience is preferred., The work schedule for these positions will be 3:00 to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday. Additional hours will be required as needs dictate. These are hourly positions; starting wage will be commensurate with experience.
